In 2011, actress Kate Hudson collaborated with Chrome Hearts on a jewelry collection. Friends since their teens, Chrome Hearts co-owner Laurie Lynn Stark and Hudson based the designs on vintage jewelry, and on shared vacations and experiences. In interviews, Hudson explained that she aimed to introduce a soft side to the hard-edged brand. The star pieces of the collection implemented aquamarines, pearls and 18K gold.
